Lena Mae Heaton, of Tangerine, FL, formerly of Wilmington, NC, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, in Florida.
She was born in Sampson County, NC, the daughter of the late Edgar Aurther and Nellie McDaniel Rackley.
She retired from Cape Fear Hospital.
Surviving is her brother, Charles Rackley of Wilmington, NC; two sisters, Margaret Memory and Rosalee Johnson, both of Jacksonville, FL; a goddaughter, Julie White of Shallotte, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2006, at Oakdale Cemetery by Rev. Rod West.
