Mrs. Ara Adna Helterbrand, 67, 614 First avenue, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Methodist hospital following a brief illness.

Born at Cotton Hill, Ill., Oct. 25, 1872, she was a daughter of Thomas and Mary Hill. She had been a resident of Peoria for 22 years. In 1901 she was married to George Helterbrand in Petersburg. She was a member of the United Brethren church.

Surviving are her husband; five sons, Thomas B., George E., and Reuben F. Downing, all of Peoria. Albert and Fred Helterbrand of Peoria; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Buenneke, Peoria; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at the residence at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Aged 67 years 11 months 9 days

Death Certificate states immediate cause of death as Bronchopneumonia due to Influenza - Chronic myocarditis.
