Jack Zora McDaniel, 60, died at his home on Pump Road Aug. 29, 1974. He was a Prosser resident for 32 years.

Mr. McDaniel was born in Clayton, Oklahoma, January 18, 1914, and had resided in Prosser since 1931. He was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for Benton County
Road Department at the time of his death. He was an avid horseman and was known throughout the area for his participation in Parades, Rodeo's, and the Prosser Stampede Association. He was a member of the Grandview Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, June; five daughters, Donna McNabb, Tammy McDaniel both of Prosser; Rode Marie Baker, Limestone, Tennessee; Beverly Ann Williams, Bothell; and Joyce Freeze, Seattle; one son, William of Seattle; a brother William of Burbank Heights, a sister Corrine Hamblen of Prosser; and eleven grandchildren.
