CENTERVILLE--Rosabelle Streeper Gwynn died February 12, 1996 at her home in Centerville at age 83.
She was born April 1, 1912 at Centerville, Utah to Herbert Rex and Voila Rosetta Smith Streeper. She married Raymond Alfred Gwynn June 30, 1937 in the Salt Lake Temple. She attended Davis County schools and was a 1935 graduate of the University of Utah. Taught art in the Salt Lake School District. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many positions in the auxiliaries. She was also a temple worker for ten years and later worked in name extraction.
Survived by husband and daughter, Rose Adele, both of Centerville; son, John Wallace Gwynn (Carol), Bountiful; son, Merrill Streeper Gwynn, Sandy; five grandchildren, Christine, Eileen, John G., Robert G. and Richard G. Gwynn of Bountiful; sister-in-law, Neva G. Larkin of Centerville; brother-in-law, W. Lamoni Carr, Salt Lake. Preceded in death by parents, three sisters, Dorothy Streeper, Ivy Carr, Carmen Carr, two brothers Cecil Streeper and Rex Streeper.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 14, 1996, 11 a.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call Wednesday 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
