He was born on November 29, 1858 at Center, Rock County, Wisconsin to David John McKee Lowery(1827 -1901) and Mary Leslie (1833-
1911). He married Addie Maria Wilcox on August 31, 1887. They had six
children (Laura, Jessie, Norman, Alice, Leslie, and Clayton). He died on October 7, 1929 at Elmore. Children Norman, Leslie, Clayton and Alice More are also buried at Riverview.
