A member of First Baptist Church, she was a Sunday School teacher in the primary department for 30 years and active in the River Ministry. She was active with Graham Crisis Center and Red Cross Blood Mobile for many years.
Survived by one daughter - Camilla Newman; two sons - John R. Caudill and Kyle Caudill; two sisters - Ruby Wolfe and Jewell Babb; two brothers - Ellis Burgess and J.J. Burgess; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
