Kiel—August Goerbing a well known resident of this area died in Medford on Saturday. He was born March 26th, 1832 near Erfurt, Sachsen, Germany and reached the age of 74 years. He came to America in 1848 with his parents and his brothers and sisters, and they settled near Thiensville, Ozaukee County. Later he moved on a farm near Kiel and is 1863 he was married to Anna Stegemann who passed away 24 years ago. He leaves four children. The funeral is Wednesday with Pastor Rech officiating.
