Mrs. Robert C. Feile, 85, formerly of Reedsville, died Sunday night at Memorial Hospital in Appleton. She had been living in Appleton with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Beilke.
The former Helen Fluhr was born Dec. 2, 1876, in the Town of Schleswig,a daughter of the late Frederick and Katherine Balz Fluhr. She was married Nov. 17, 1898, to Robert C. Feile.
The couple spent most of their married life at Reedsville.
Mrs. Feile was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and of the Women's Guild of Friedens Evangelical and Reformed Church, Reedsville.
Surviving are a son, Hugo, of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Beilke, Appleton; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. John Henschel and Mrs. William Kriegelstein, both of Kiel, and Mrs. Fred Steffen, Wausau; and two brothers, Edwin of New Holstein and John, Chilton. Her husband and two daughters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Friedens Evangelical and Reformed Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Lloyd Fried will officiate and burial will be in the Schleswig cemetery
