Carter, Alvin Lamar, Al , 61, of Lithia died June 7, 2009 after a courageous battle against cancer. Al was a Vietnam veteran. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Brandi (John), and Carin (Philip) and four grandchildren, P.J., Shawn, Alexis, Ali , and Annette. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10 am at Hopewell Funeral Home with Services following at 11 am with Dr. Barry Rumsey officiating.
