The fatal disease was pneumonia complicated with meningitis. The patient showed remarkable vitality, but had to succumb after many days of struggle. This young man had a host of friends in the lower part of the State. He was one of many for his gentlemanly deportment at all times.
His extreme regard for others has made him the favorite of our town from boyhood. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
The body will be interred in the cemetery tomorrow morning, funeral services in the Presbyterian church, Rev. H. R. Murchison officiating.
