Rex Walter Allen, age 49 of Demorest, died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Born in Habersham County on June 24, 1958. He was the son of the late J. Lee and Una Belle Allen Kennedy Allen. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by sister, Elaine Allen.
Surviving are brothers, Verner Kennedy and Jimmy Allen both of Demorest; sisters, Frances Kennedy and Barbara Barron both of Demorest.
Interment will follow in Demorest City cemetery.
