R.M. Bowser Dies At Home After Illness

Rhinaldo Milton Bowser, 138 North Seventh Street, died at his home at four-thirty o'clock this morning (February 16, 1943) following a months' illness. He was born in Kittanning, Pa., January 14, 1858. Deceased had been a resident of Olean for the past fifty-seven years.

He was active in musical organizations during his earlier life. He had been a member of the Whitney Hose Band, 43rd Separate Company Band, Burleigh's Band and the Olean Symphony Orchestra and was president of the Musicians' Union for several years. Mr. Bowser conducted the Monarch Billiard Academy in the Masonic Temple for twenty-two years, later moving his business to the Coast Estate Block, where it is at present located.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Alice Bowser, one daughter, Mrs. W.W. Beacom, Randolph; one son, Archie M. Bowser, Olean; one brother, J.F. Bowser, Rochester; and five grandchildren.

Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
