Kouts - Charles Ray, 80 [sic], retired grain dealer and former operator of the Kouts Elevator for many years, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday in his Kouts home after suffering a heart seizure. Born in Rossville, Ill., June 4,1879, he resided in Kouts the past 46 years, coming from LaCrosse. On April 4,1907 in Danville, he married Sally Goodwine, who survives. He was a member of the Kouts Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge. One son and one daughter preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Kosanke Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Darling officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, Friends may call at the funeral home in Kouts after 4 p.m. Wednesday. VALPARAISO (Ind.) VIDETTEMESSENGER,
