Rosemary Pearl Henry, 90, Tipton, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born September 7, 1919 in Jackson County, Indiana to Sylvester E. & Bertha D. (Bricker) Needler. On June 24, 1939 she married James R. Henry, Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1998.

She was a member of the Tetersburg Christian Church and Willing Workers Class. Rosemary belonged to the Order of Eastern Star, Rosary Chapter 66. She had been the secretary for U.A.W. 1166 and participated in the support group for Dr. Leo Watson in Kokomo.

Rosemary is survived by three sons, James Ronald Henry Jr. and wife Brenda, Tipton, Bruce Lee Henry and wife Candy, Tipton and Charles David Henry and wife Carolyn, Kokomo; nine grandchildren, Annette Watson (Wes), Larry Henry (Julie), Shawn Henry (Brianna), Stacey Pinkston (Shawn), Laura Henry, Katrina Basiewicz (Tim), Nicole Henry, Rhonda Holtquist, and Jerry Henry, 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald B. Needler and Marshall Lee Needler both of Anderson, and a special caregiver, Dorothy Johnson.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Stephen Wayne Henry and Lawrence Gene Henry, three brothers, Leslie G., Clifford B. and Virgil C. Needler, one sister, Crystal B. VanMatre, and two grandsons.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 3, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Mangold presiding. Burial will follow at Tetersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
