Mr. Mock was born and raised in Sylvania the son of the late Harvey A. Mock and the late Ollie Elizabeth Mock Mock. He was retired from Anglo American Clays and ECCI International as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Mock was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist church and was an avid antique tractor hobbyist. He also formerly worked as a bread salesman for the Sun Beam Bread Company. Mr. Mock is predeceased by his wife Joyce Stanley Mock.
Survivors are his children, Allen Mock (Laura Hollie) of Mitchell, Belinda M. Nicholson (Richard) of Buckhead and Lori Mock of Sandersville, grandchildren, Derek Mock, Tristan Mock, Chandler Mock, Josh Nicholson, and Matthew Nicholson, a great granddaughter Emma Mock, his brother, Walter Mock (Betty) of Sylvania and sisters, Gloria Jones (W.C.) of Statham, Lela Oliver (Brown) of Sylvania and Shelby Jean Miles of Statesboro.
The family will be at the Mock residence 16059 Linton Rd. South and will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
