Edythe Mae Dahlberg, 83, formerly of Poplar, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999 in the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 1, 1916 in Kelsey, Minn., she had resided in Poplar most of her life.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and its Dorcas Circle and the Poplar Study Club.

She is survived by six sons, Theodore (Mary Ann) Dahlberg, Solon Springs, A. Dale (Shirley) Dahlberg of Gordon, Lloyd (Cathy) Dahlberg, Misawa, Japan, Richard Dahlberg, Duluth, Raymond (Georgia) Dahlberg, Fond du Lac, and Stanley (Claudia) Dahlberg, Town of Lakeside; two daughters, Nancy (Fred) Renman, South Range, and Kay Riggio, Superior; two sisters, Evelyn Olson and Opal Watsula, both of Meadowlands, Minn.; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dahlberg was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore A. Dahlberg Sr., a son, Dennis Dahlberg and her parents, Charles M. and Sarah (Yoakum) Stevens.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home and will continue Friday in Peace Lutheran Church, Poplar, from 12:30 p.m. until the 1:30 p.m. funeral. Rev. Greg Gullicksrud, pastor, will officiate with interment to be in the Poplar Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service will be her grandchildren.
