Vivian B. Hope, 78, a retired dietary supervisor who worked for Orlando Hospital, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002. The service will be at 5 p.m. EST today at First Baptist Church in Quincy, with burial at 2 p.m. EST Thursday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308-5428. Independent Funeral Home in Quincy (875-1529) is handling arrangements. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Norman C. Hope of Culpepper, Va.; a daughter, Janice H. Pendland of Quincy; two granddaughters, Laura Kerr and Heather Harms; a sister, Juanita Heber of Kissimmee; and four great-grandchildren.
