Bernard H. Wurfel, 77, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Brooksville Health Care Center, Hospice Center. He was born in Detroit, Mich., son of Samuel and Elizabeth Wurfel and moved to this area 15 years ago from Rochester Hills, Mich. He was a retired automotive process engineer, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Michigan Club, Spring Hill, and a Lutheran by faith. Survivors include his wife, Elsie; a son, Stephen of Austin, Texas; and a daughter, Lorna Jean Stemarie of Dearborn, Mich. Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Homes, Spring Hill Chapel.
