Geraldine Marie Boom, 65, of Oxford died Tuesday (March 5, 2002). Born in Blossburg, Pa., she moved to Oxford in 1987 from Osceola, Pa. She was a retired inspector for Corning Glass Works and was a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Robert O. Boom of Oxford; three sons, Roy Boom of Osceola, Pa., Gordon Boom of Oxford, and James Boom of Orlando; four daughters, Cheryl Burrows of Oxford, Cindy Musto of Summerfield, Tarea Boom of Oxford, and Amanda McKay of Goldsboro, N.C.; brother, Burdette Church of New York; sister, Jean Hicks of New York; and 16 grandchildren.
