HATTIESBURG - Services will be held at noon Wednesday at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church for Woodrow W. "Buck" Hutto, 87, of Hattiesburg, who died Dec. 28, 2008, at his home.
Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery with military rites performed by VFW Post # 3036 Honor Guard.
Mr. Hutto was a district manager for Combined Insurance Co., where he worked for 41 years, chief signalman in the U.S. Navy during World War II and member of Parkway Heights United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Allie Triggs Hutto.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Anne Causey Hutto of Hattiesburg; two sons, John W. Hutto of Hattiesburg and Scotty M. Hutto of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Suzanne McDuff of Pensacola; a brother, Warren Hutto of Clara; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to: Parkway Heights United Methodist Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday at the church.
Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home of Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.
