Born January 3, 1886 in Sharp County, Ark. to Mr. and Mrs. H. C, Wooidridge, the family moved to Young County in 1906 settling near the Proffitt Community.
He married Belle Wilkinson in 1908. She preceded him in death on 4 December 1914.
He was married to Alice Wilkinson, the sister of his first wife on 30 April 1916 in Throckmorton, Texas.
A retired farmer, he was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. L. L. Creel of Duncan, Okla.; two brothers B. C, Wooidridge of Newcastle and Clyde Wooidridge of Cave City, Ark.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The daughter - Mrs.L.L. Creel is actually Cora Wilkinson. She was the daughter of Hooper T. Wilkinson - Cora Wooldridge. Cora was raised by Charlie and Alice after her parents died. Cora married Lewis Leo "Red" Creel.
