North Branch - Mrs. Gertrude C. Bauer, 90 of 5352 Martus Road, died Sunday in Marlette Community Hospital. She was born October 5, 1883 in Lapeer County. She and Gregory Bauer were married May 25, 1904 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Burnside. Mrs. Bauer was a parishioner of St. Mary's and a member of its Alter Society.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William Rivers, Westland; Mrs Joseph Bauer, North Branch, and Mrs. Andrew Bauer, Pontiac; five sons, George Bauer, Pontiac, Walter Bauer, North Branch, Arthur Bauer, Clifford, Thomas Bauer, Caro, and Robert Bauer, Lapeer, 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; three sisters. Mrs. Clementine Schlaud, Lapeer, Mrs. Mary Weingartz and Mrs Elizabeth Nolan, both of North Branch and brother, Joseph Robinet, Imlay City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Francis Weingartz officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette.
