HUTCHINSON - Kathleen L. Guyer White, 80, died Feb. 26, 2010, at Hospice House. She was born May 27, 1929, in Arlington, the daughter of Fay and Marie Koestel Guyer. A Hutchinson resident most of her life, she had also lived in Garden City. She had graduated from Garden City High School and Salt City Business College. She was an Office Manager for the Partridge Co-Op, as well as several other businesses in Hutchinson.

She was a member of First Christian Church, where she was in the Vota Vita Sunday School Class, and was a member of the V.F.W. Bob Campbell Post 1361 Ladies Auxiliary. She had married Budde Chrystie in 1948, and later married Clint White Oct. 26, 1991, in Hutchinson. He died July 9, 1994.

Survivors include: two daughters Patricia "Pat" Jensen and Kathleen "Kay" Fruehauf (Al), all of Hutchinson; sister Elizabeth Perks, El Dorado; and "nana's kids," Remy Green and Aspyn King. She was preceded in death by: a brother, Lester: a granddaughter, Janafaye Marie LaVallee; and a son-in-law, Gerald "Jerry" Jensen.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, with Rev. Katrina Palin and Rev. Dr. Kim Biery presiding. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., all at the funeral home.
