Carroll Edward Lee, 85, of Bellmead, passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at a local hospital. Military graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 1, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Carroll was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Alford and Flora Gladys (Farmer) Lee. He was a past employee of E. L. Dalton and a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Velma Woodward Lee in 1991; and a son, Jerry Lee.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Lee, of Bellmead; daughter, Sherry Hamer and husband, Tommy, of Bellmead; son, Edward Lee and wife, Linda, of Waco; granddaughter and care-giver, Jeanie Willis, of Waco; ten grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; three step-children, Beverly Jones, of Oklahoma, Linda Eaton, and Johnny Buckner; sister, Joyce Hinton, of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
