Pauline Lee, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, March 13, at Bellmead Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 14, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwayne Hoxworth officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Pauline was born in Crawford, Texas, to the late William Ira and Mattie Jones. In 1944, she married Pleas Buckner and they had three children, Beverly, John, and Linda. She worked at Bristow Memorial Hospital in Bristow, Oklahoma, for 15 years before moving to Waco and working at Hillcrest Hospital for over 30 years. She married Carroll Edward Lee on December 31, 1982. Pauline loved nursing, especially taking care of the babies. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her Boston Terrier, Shelia.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pleas in 1967; second husband, Carroll Edward Lee in 2010; three sisters; and six brothers.
Survivors include her children, Beverly Jones, of Okemah, Oklahoma, John Buckner, of West Virginia, and Linda Eaton, of Lorena; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Jones and wife, Ollie; sister, Ruth Pierce; and several nieces and nephews.
