Keith Cason, age 58, of Alma died suddenly early Friday morning at the Bacon County Hospital. He was a native of Bacon County, son of the late Buford Cason and was also preceded in death by a nephew Kyle Cason. Keith was a member of Lees Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Pearlene Sweat Cason of Alma, two sons, Brian Cason and wife Amanda of Eastman, Georgia, David Cason and wife Nicki of Alma, one daughter, Connie Cason of Alma, a brother, Johnny Cason and wife Sybil of Alma, also 12 grandchildren survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock at Lees Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Bryant Bishop and Rev. Lowell Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 PM and are meeting at the residence of his mother, Pearlene Cason on Lees Chapel Church Road. The body will lie in state one hour before funeral time Monday morning.

Active pallbearers will be, Mike Jones, Mark Helms, Kip Cason, Denny Lee, Danny Harrell and Terry Sweat. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.
