Thorisa M. 'Tori' Cockerham, 19, 5102 S. Johnson Rd., Superior, died Saturday, July 17, 1999, as the result of a traffic accident on Wisconsin Highway 35. She was born Nov. 19, 1979, in Superior, and was a lifelong Superior area resident.

She was employed as a secretary for Mickey's Auto Body in Duluth and had an avid interest in horses.

She is survived by her father, Harlan Cockerham, Superior; her mother and stepfather, Kathy Fry and David Blodgett, Beaver Dam; her fiance, Lane Halverson, South Range; two sisters, Corie Cockerham, Beaver Dam, and Heather Cockerham, Eau Claire; two brothers, Nicholas Cockerham, Portage, Ind., and Harlan Cockerham, Virginia, Minn.; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Yvonne Fry, Superior; her paternal grandparents, Patricia and Arthur Johnson, Bellingham, Wash.; her paternal grandfather, George (June) Cockerham, Braham, Minn.; a step-grandmother, Edith Blodgett, state of Maine; two stepsisters, Melissa Blodgett and Shelly Blodgett, Maine; a stepbrother, Chad Blodgett, Maine; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Bob Fagan.

She was preceded in death by a cousin, Eric Fry Paulson; her great-grandmother, Mary Tanner; her great-grandmother, Fern Harapat; her great-grandmother, Hannah Cockerham, and her step-grandfather, Erlon Blodgett.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Downs Funeral Home with the Rev. Lincoln Fry officiating. Interment will be in the Summit Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bill Cockerham, Peewee Cockerham, Levi and Brandon Holmes, Tim Paulson and Ronald Danielson.
