MRS JOHN LABOMBARD
From the Hanover, N. H., Gazette is taken the following clipping relating to the death of a former resident of Chateaugay: Mrs. John A. LaBombard, of Hanover died at her home on the Greensboro road April 22, of combined heart and kidney trouble She was born in Chateaugay, N.Y., October 13, 1853 daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tourvillc of that town. In 1869 she was united in marriage to John A. LaBombard. To them were born eight children, seven sons and one daughter. In 1898 they moved to Hanover in which town they have resided ever since. Mrs. LaBombard was a vvnm:ri of sterling character, a sincere Christian, and a great lover of hvr children, by whom she will be greatly
missed. High Mass of requiem was celebrated at St. Denis church of Hanover, of which she was a member and she was buried in the family lot at Lebanon by the side of her son, Royal, the only one of her large family who had passed on before their mother. The floral tributes were many and beautiful showing the great esteem and love in which she was held. She was borne to her last resting place by her six sons, which was her expressed wish. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Garipay, of Hanovr, six sons, George N., William H., Samuel J.. Chandler L., and Ernest J., of Hanover, and Charles A., of Lebanon; one sister, Mrs. C. P. Gerue, of Etna; and six brothers, Henry Tourville, of Wisconsin, Charles, ofColorado, George, of St. Anne de Beaupre, and Albert, Louis, and Joseph, of Chateaugay; twenty-nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
