Louis Tourville passed away at the home of his son, Robert, on Tuedsay afternnon after an illness of several months duration. Mr. Tourville was born in Chateaugay 79 years ago, and was one of a number of a large familly of children born to the late Mr. and Mrs Charles Tourville. The deceased had always resided in Chateaugay, where he followed the occupation of farming and was well know and highly regared for his sterling character and worth and his demise is deeply mourned. He was united in marriage to Miss Emma Patnode, who died about twenty years ago. The surviving memebers are four daughter and three sons, Mrs. Joseph Patnode of Chateaugay, Mrs. Oliver Bilow of Ellenburg Central, Mrs. Oscar Versnaw and Mrs. Leo Moses of Massena. Rober tha Roy of Chateaugay and Herbert of Lake Placid, one sister, Mrs. Clayton P. Geru of Etna, N.H. and on brother, Joseph of West Springfield, MA. several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. the funeral services were held at St. Patrick's church on Thursday morning, Rev. J.W. McClure officiating. Interment was made in St. Patricks cemetery.
