Our beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend passed away Feb. 22, 2010 in Orem, UT.
Born Aug. 8, 1930 in Las Vegas, NV to LeRoy and Ruth Taylor Boren.
Raised in Wallsburg, UT.
Met her future husband, George Atkin, on a blind date and married two weeks later on a dare.
Known to serve others in her quiet, kind way.
Firm believer in family, god and country - a true patriot.
Loved eagles, roses and celebrating Easter at her home with family.
She will be missed by many, especially those who knew and loved her most - her children: Mike, Alan, Daryl (Lisa), Rick (Sylvia) and Karen (Valden); numerous grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren; brother and sisters: Doris, Alene, Elizabeth and Ben.
Preceded in death by husband, son (Gene), parents, sisters, brothers, granddaughter and great-grandson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Sat., Feb. 27, 2010 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State, Provo, UT.
Friends may call at Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E. Center, on Fri. from 6-8:00 p.m. and from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Sat. prior to services at the cemetery.
