Jimmy Henry Bloodworth of Edmond, OK, went to be with our Lord on August 22, 2007, at the age of 73. Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. He was born July 21, 1934 in Toomsboro, Georgia to Alex and Ruth Bloodworth. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 22 years. He retired from a second career with Bell Helicopter in 1990. He also served in many capacities with the Church of the Nazarene throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers. Jimmy is survived by his wife of fifty- five years, Norma Jean; son, Rick; daughter, Vickie; grandson, Cameron; two sisters; and one brother. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mission Hospice, 1608 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73118. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Waterloo Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be at Matthews Funeral Home.
