Madeline Montgomery, 59, of Weiner passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at her home.

She was born on April 16, 1950 in Newport, AR into the family of Earl and Lillie Wells Hopkins.

Ms. Montgomery was employed by Riceland Foods and loved reading and quilting.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Montgomery of Jonesboro and Aaron Montgomery of Weiner; five daughters, Ann Montgomery and Melinda Howard both of Weiner, Tina Montgomery of Trumann, Sandra Schwarz of Weiner, and Stephanie Montgomery of Bono; nine grandchildren, Brett Montgomery, Preston Aitkens, Whitney Aitkens, Cody Howard, Cassidy Howard, John Tyler Schwarz, Dylan Schwarz, Trevor Wigginton, and Amanda Montgomery Hanners; Four brothers, Larry, Danny, Gary, and Roger Hopkins; and one sister, Shelia Haskett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clarence Montgomery, her parents, Earl and Lillie Hopkins.

Funeral services was at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel in Weiner with Steve Thornton officiating. Burial was in the Weiner Oak Grove Cemetery.
