Mrs. France Holley who had lived here for more than half a century, died in Abilene Monday, August 6, after lengthy illness. She had gone there two months ago to be with a daughter. She was 79 years of age. During her long residence here, Mrs. Holley devoted herself to her family, her friends and her church. Born Addie Berryman on January 28, 1894, in Missouri, she was the daughter of the late C.R. and Bessie Berryman. She was married to J.F. Holley on December 25, 1910, and they lived at Hollis before coming here 51 years ago. He died August 14, 1964. She had been a member of the Church of Christ since early life. Surviving Mrs. Holley are a son, James Holley, a daughter Mrs. Ralph Gray of Abilene; three brothers, Tom Berryman and Richard Berryman of Matador and Bill Berryman of Lubbock; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Wright of Arlington, Mrs. Susie Messer and Miss Marie Berryman; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren
