Deceased Name: HUNTER, CHERRY MCBROOM
HUNTER, CHERRY MCBROOM, age 94, of Mobile, AL and a resident of St. Martin's in the Pines since 1995 died in Birmingham on February 21, 2005. She was a member of Government Street Presbyterian Church in Mobile.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenric Hunter; daughter, Cherry Shannon Hunter; and brother, Harry T. McBroom, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean Hunter Hutchings (Harry) of Birmingham; granddaughters, Ellen Hutchings (Greg Skelton) of Birmingham and Tracey Powell (Art); great grandsons, Arthur Powell IV and Hunter Powell of Mobile; sister, Virginia Pennington (Cliff) of Mobile; and brother, Sherwood McBroom (Annie) of Fairhope, along with a number of beloved nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2005. Dr. Edwin Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at Pine Crest Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and employees of St. Martin's for the love and compassion they gave that was returned with Cherry's eternal smile.
