Date Aug 13, 1917 Dover, Oklahoma Interment: Dover Cemetery Levi left Ohio and moved to Illinois when he was a young man. There he married Nancy Ann Vaughn born April 4, 1847; on July 14, 1866 at Ipava, Fulton, Ill.
Nancy Anne died Jan 20, 1917 at Dover, Ok.
They moved to Missouri in 1871, then to Kansas in 1877 - then to Okla in 1889 when Okla was opened for settlement. They homesteaded in Kingfisher County and lived there the rest of their lives. After moving to Okla, Levi changed the
spelling of his name to Willson so his mail would not become lost. There were several Wilson's in Okla; and at that time, the mail service was not very efficient.

THE DOVER NEWS Thursday Aug 16, 1917:
LEVI WILSON DIES SUDDENLY - Levi Wilson passed away very suddenly at his home in the west part of Dover, Sunday morning at 8:00. Though aged and infirm, Mr. Wilson was able to be about and was uptown, Saturday. He had been out feeding his chickens and had just returned to the house and sat down on the porch, when he was suddenly stricken and fell. Some boys who were near saw him fall and ??
