Mrs Nealy married Herman Nealy in 1944, while he was stationed there during World War II. She and her young son came to Texas after the War to join her husband. Mrs Nealy and her husband owned Hillcrest Nursery near Crockett. She moved to Waco in 1968, where she and her son owned Town & Country Gardens Florist. Mrs Nealy was also a member of the Trans-Atlantic Brides and Parents Association, the Texas Association of Nurserymen, and was a faithful member of the All Saint's Alter Guild.
Survivors include son, David Nealy and wife Shelley of Waco; grandson Michael Nealy and fiancee Davanna Arndt of Waco; stepgrandaughter Leslie Gonzalez and husband Dooley and Lori Gonzalez and husband David; step greatgrandaughters Elisabeth and Madison Gonzolez; brother Michael Gaden and wife Brenda of Bourton on the Hill, England; and her many special friends in the British Britinia Town Club of Waco.
Mrs Nealy was preceded in death by husband Herman Nealy in 1961; parents Mary & Frank Gaden; and her sister Elizabeth in June of this year.
Memorial Services for Mrs Nealy were held Monday, November 15, 1999 at 10am in the St Albans Episcopal Church in Waco with the Rev Doug Taylor officiating. Graveside Services were held Monday at 330p in the Evergreen Memorial Park in Crockett with the Rev Canon Hunter Morris officiating.
Interment followed.
