OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabsh (IN)
Glenn D. Shilder, 56, 388 West Market Street, Wabash, died on April 5, at 4:37 p.m. at the Wabash County Hospital. He was born on June 10, 1938, in Michigan City to Claude and Jannett (Hair) Shidler. He married Carol Nork on March 9, 1963. She survives.

A veteran of the Navy, he had been a resident of Wabash County for 23 years and had worked at Ford Meter Box for 12 years.

Other survivors include four sons, Kirk, Greg, Daryl and Troy; a daughter, Kimberly, all of Wabash; eight sisters, Marge Shidler, FL; Phyllis Thews, North Judson; Varna Belle Calhoun, Michigan City; Dorothy Trump, FL; Judy Worlds, Fort Wayne; Roberta Shidler, KY; Mavis Thompson, Logansport; and Marcella Craig, TX; and seven grandchildren.

Jack H. Fleming officiated services on April 8 at 3 p.m. at the Eddingfield-LeLaughter Mortuary, Wabash. Burial was in the Falls Cemetery.
