GLENNVILLE -- Nellie Daughtry Murry Powell, 90, died Jan. 31 at home under care of Hospice.
The Liberty County native lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a charter member of Northside Baptist Church. She was retired from civil service at Fort Stewart after 26 years and was a member of the Golden Age Club.
SURVIVORS: two daughters and a son-in-law, Dorian and Billy Proctor of Glennville, and Vernell M. Fort of Baxley; nine grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Chapel in Glennville.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Saturday at Northside Baptist Church, burial in Beards Creek Church Cemetery.
