Mrs. Gladys D. Nease, 86, died Feb. 20 at Candler Hospital. She was born in Liberty County and lived in Garden City since 1948. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Garden City and taught in the Sunday school. She retired in 1979 from Tetley Tea Co. after 24 years of service. SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Darvin and Judy C. Nease of Savannah; a daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Ted Redmond of Savannah; a sister, Nellie Powell of Glennville; and several nieces and nephews. CRYPTSIDE SERVICE: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Abbey Mausoleum. Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Massey Chapel in Garden City.
