Mary Lois Reardon of Coatesville

Mary Lois Reardon, 85, of Coatesville, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at Chester County Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Gerald M. Reardon, who preceded her in death in 1987.
Born in Campbellsport, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn C. Haisley Smith.
She was a graduate of Marquette University School of Nursing, and worked as a registered nurse in the Med-Surg Unit of Coatesville Hospital, and prior to that at Coatesville VA Medical Center.
She was also a World War II Navy nurse.
A member of St. Cecilia Church in Coatesville, she volunteered and participated in her children's activities.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Becker and husband, Don, of Sun City, Ariz.; daughter, Margaret Salabsky of York; daughter, Kathryn Weidner and husband, Robert, of Coatesville; daughter, Carol Reardon of Coatesville, with whom she resided; son, Jeremiah Reardon and wife, Judith, of Coatesville; daughter, Teresa Sibbett and husband, David, of Coatesville; daughter, Amy Capetola and husband, Paul, of Downingtown; son, Patrick Reardon and wife, Robin, of Easton; two sisters, Molly Mueller of Wisconsin and Carol Girabaldi of Florida; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one great-grandchild.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church, Sixth Avenue and East Chestnut Street, Coatesville, where family and friends may call beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Kennett Square.
