MRS. CHARLES PETERS - CHESTERTON - Eastern Star rites and services for Mrs. Charles (Lillian) Peters, 86, 226 North Calumet, who died at 11 p.m. Saturday at Warren Clinic, Michigan City, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carl Edmonds Funeral Home.
Dr. William E. Hughes, First Methodist church, will officiate with burial in Chesterton cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
Born May 20, 1880, in Chesterton, she was the daughter of Edward & Emile (Koehn) Schaper. She was married to Charles Peter who preceded her in death in 1922.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Emile Alyward, of Calif., and one nephew, Edward Ruhe, of Chesterton.
Mrs. Peters has been a resident of Chesterton, coming from Chicago. She was a members of the Ravenswood chapter of Eastern Star.
