Beryl along with his older brother Gordon and younger brother Neel all served their country in WWII. He enlisted April 7,1943 in Oregon.
He was fatally wounded and died in the US Army military campaigns on Leyte Island, Phillipines in 1944.
His body was eventually returned home and burial services held Sep 2; 1948 in the Sandy City, Utah Cemetery.
