EVERETT WARREN
---Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the La Plata Christian Church for Everett M. Warren, sixty-four, who died at a Kirksville hospital Sunday afternoon, July 3, after a short illness.
---Everett McKinley Warren, son of James Franklin and Mary Goodsey Warren, was born at New Boston on July 20, 1896.
---He was married to Minnie Reed at Kirksville on June 17, 1920.
---He was employed by the Belt Fur & Wool Company. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Gibbs Christian Church.
---He is survived by his wife; one sister, Mrs. Katie Barnes of Atlanta, six brothers, Tom and Roy of Elmer, Sam of La Plata, Elmer of New Boston, Lloyd of Hull, Illinois and Otha of Greentop.
---Preceding him in death were three brothers and two sisters. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
---The Rev. Frank Stout was the clergyman in charge of the services. Interment was in the La Plata Cemetery.
---Pallbearers were Alvin Campbell, Forest McReynolds, Lawton Collins, Everett Ruby, M.E. Belt and Lloyd Collins. Christie Funeral Service was in charge.
