Jens Jasperson, oldest son of Nels and Dorothy Jasperson, was born near Ruskin, June 18, 1885, and passed away at the Brodstone hospital at Superior, Sunday, June 7, at the age of 45 years, 11 months and 19 days. He had spent his entire life in Nuckolls county with the exception of two years spent in Kansas, when he as a boy went there with his parents.
On February 2, 1910, he was united in marriage with Kathrine (sic) Magee. To this union were born three sons and two daughters. One son, Donald, died in infancy.
He united with the Christian Church at Nelson, October 28, 1928.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, two sons, Garland and Harland; two daughters, Dorothy and Mary Katherine; his father and mother, one brother, Carol of Beatrice; besides several other relatives and a host of friends.
He was a kind and loving husband and father and a friend to all - ever ready to help a friend and do a kindly deed.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. L.W. Myers of the Nelson Christian Church, Tuesday.
