Long Illness Proves Fatal of Woman Who Had Resided in This City More Than Sixty Years

Mrs. Aca Oller, 85, a resident of this city for more than 60 years passed away at 7:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, William Oller, in Hewittville, with whom she had made her home for many years. Mrs. Oller had been ill for about two years and had been bedfast for more than a year. Death was caused from hardening of the arteries and advanced years.

Mrs. Oller, the former Aca Parrill, was born Dec. 10, 1848 in Hampshire, W. Virginia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Parrill. More than 60 years ago she moved to Taylorville with her parents. She was united in marriage to Mose Oller on September 15, 1870. They lived on farms surrounding Taylorville until the death of Mr. Oller in December, 1925. Mrs. Oller was the mother of 13 children, five of whom are deceased.

Surviving are the following children: Ora Oller, Pawnee Rock, Kansas; Mose Oller of Maxwell, Kansas; Mrs. Albert Brewer, Great Bend, Kansas; Mrs. Albert Peden, Fredonia, Kansas; Mrs. Effie Moses, Louis, Kansas; John Oller, Johnson township, and William and Wesley Oller of this city, also 25 grandchildren and three sisters, namely: Mrs. John Micenheimer of this city, Mrs. Rachel Goodin of Kolin, Montana, and Mrs. Lydia Hawkins of Oconee.

She was a member of the Providence church.

The body was removed to the Chesnut & Pearce funeral parlors to be prepared for burial and will be taken to the home of her son, William Oller, on South Houston Street, Hewittville, this evening. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but burial will take place beside her husband in the Anderson Cemetery south of this city.
