Wesley H. Oller, 75, Livestock Dealer, Dies

Wesley H. Oller, 75, livestock dealer residing in the Hewittville suburb, died at 11:00 Sunday morning in the St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient six weeks. He had been in failing health about a year.

A native of Christian County, Mr. Oller was born July 19, 1882 in Johnson Township, the son of Moses and Aca Lupton Oller. He was married at Taylorville, March 17, 1907 to Anna Pippen. Mr. Oller resided in this community his entire life and was well known as a livestock dealer being active in that business until he entered the hospital. He was a member of the Davis Memorial Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Ruth) Griffiths of Taylorville; three sisters, his twin Mrs. Bessie Brewer of Great Bend, Kansas, Mrs. Lana Peden, Fredonia, Kansas, Mrs. Essie Moses, Wichita, Kansas, brother Moses Oller, Maxville, Kansas; one grandson, Ronald Griffiths and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Connolly Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles A. Day, pastor of the Davis Memorial Christian Church will officiate assisted by the Reverend Cecil Covey, pastor of the Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:00 Tuesday afternoon until the hour of the funeral.
