LITTON, LILLIE SMITH died 27 Aug 1976

Lillie Smith Litton, age 86, of Route 2, Oneida, passed away Friday evening at the Scott County Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Ewell Smith and the late Louvania Marcum, and the beloved wife of the late Virgil Litton. She was also preceded in death by one son, Louie Litton. She is survived by three sons-Lecil Litton of Oak Ridge, Lester Litton of Oneida, and Harold Litton of Maryville. Five grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Lillie Litton joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church by letter on April 11, 1942, where she remained a faithful member until death. Funeral services were conducted Monday, August 30th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Blevins, Rev. James E. Marcum, and Rev. Dale Smith officiating. Burial was in the Litton Cemetery. Pallbearers were: James Blevins, Ralph Coffey, Cedric Jurgens, Kenneth Litton, Cashious Smith, and Chester Taylor.
