Their children were: Annie E., George, Jackson, Maria Louisa, John Piper, Rosanna, Joel Tufts, Charles, Albert L., and Mary Rebecca.
Three of the above children, John Piper, Charles, and Albert L., died of dysentery, August 24, 25, 26 1851, and were buried the same day, and in the same grave.
