An Actress and Poet.

Born at Chittagong, India [now part of Bangladesh], where her father was said to be a doctor in the colonial medical service.
Her maiden name is unknown, but it is now thought more than probable that it was Ffrench-Mullen, given that she was buried here in a grave that already contained the remains of Jarlath and Mina, who were possibly her parents.
She married Henry L. Salkeld in India in 1902, and returned to Ireland following his death in 1909.

She lived at 43, Morehampton Road, Donnybrook, Dublin, where with her son Cecil, she ran The Gayfield Press. Her influential salon was attended by all of the literati of the time.

The headstone is for Brendan Behan
