Lee Roy Webb, 62, Mitchell, passed away at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Bloomington Hospital of Orange County.

Born November 8, 1947, in Bedford and raised in Knightstown, he was the son of Roy and Norma Jean (Brock) Webb. He married Diana Kay Deckard July 11, 1997.

He was formerly employed at Sigma Steel.

Lee Roy was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart. He was a member of Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post N0. 250, Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107, and the United States Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and the State and National Blind Society.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Brown and Rev. Larry Brown officiating.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Beech Grove Cemetery with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
